RESTAURANT FOOD SALES - Positions currently available in Frederick, MD and VA (Manassas, Centreville, Fairfax City, Burke, Woodbridge

Interested in a career in food sales?  Are you eager to join a team long term?  We have opportunities for a fully commissioned Territory Management position in the Frederick, MD and VA areas.

You will prepare and demonstrate new food products for our existing restaurant, hotel and healthcare customers.  Kitchen experience in restaurants, hotels or similar businesses is strongly preferred.

The Sales Territory Manager candidate is expected to have a proven successful background in the food sales industry.  Preferred candidates for this position have excellent selling skills as well as a varied wealth of experience and product knowledge.  We are looking for highly motivated candidates who are extremely organized, posses computer skills, are able to effectively communicate with customers and team members.  Sales Representatives are given a territory where they will be expected to maintain and grow existing accounts as well as grow the territory.

Inside Sales Representative

We are currently looking for candidates to join our Inside Sales team.  This is an entry level position with the potential for growth within the department and the company.  This position requires a fast learner who strives for daily improvement, is able to multi-task, and possesses excellent computer skills.  Experience in the food industry or in customer service is a plus.

In this position, the employee:

·        Answers calls and assists customers with questions

·        Takes customer orders

·        Supports incoming sales representative’s calls by providing them with account information, delivery schedules, etc.

·        Is responsible for Special Order requests from both sales reps and customers

·        Receives credit/pickup requests

·        Retrieves orders transmitted via internet to our database

·        Transfers all orders for shipment to our transportation department to be routed for delivery

·        Assists customers in determining the products that will best meet their needs

·        Strives to reduce errors and returns

·        Liaison between Sales, Transportation and Purchasing

·        Prints “end-of-day” process reports to assure deliveries are routed accurately

 

Computers skills are a must, most importantly the ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Excel and Word.

 

The hours for this position:

Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm and Friday from 10am-8pm (flexible end time)  

 

This position requires a flexible schedule, as it is imperative for the work to be accurately completed by the end of the day.
